Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Lip Colour - 38 La Fascinante

I have been waiting for months for Chanel's Rouge Allure Velvet lip colour and was delighted to see it in store here in Berlin. In typical Miss Claret style I went for the most red shade, number 38 - La Fascinante. Not quite as matte as I thought it would be, but a lovely cherry red nonetheless.

Chanel Rouge Allure Laque Lip Lacquer - 75 Dragon

Chanel Rouge Allure Lip Lacquer in 75 Dragon is less orange than 72 Coromandel and a lot darker. Both shades are incredible and are a delight to wear!

Chanel Rouge Allure Laque Lip Lacquer - 72 Coromandel

I am not a gloss wearer, but this lip lacquer is something else. Despite looking and feeling like a lacquer, this product is super opaque and wears like a lipstick. I absolutely love it.
As well as its longevity on the lips, this product is rich in pigment and is incredibly moisturising. The packaging is worth noting as well - oh so classy!

Chanel Precision Lip Definer - 24 Rouge

I never use to wear lip liner. I am not actually sure how I coped, especially given the red lipstick junkie I have become. I am always on the look out for the matching red to go with my "lipstick of the moment". It is surprising how many variations of red there are out there.
Chanel's Precision Lip Liner in 24 Rouge is a classic, bright red. The staying power is intense. I would recommend that you not only draw around the lips, but pencil in the entire lip area. Be mindful that this can be a bit drying so if you want to do this be sure to use something moisturising over the top. I am also quite taken with the sharpener it comes with and would definitely buy his product again.
