Guerlain - The Lip Liner - 24 Rouge Dahlia

Guerlain's "The Lip Liner" in shade 24 Rouge Dahlia is a beautiful bright red. I'm not usually a fan of wind out lip liners, but so far this product have been very user friendly. The nib is very precise and the product is creamy. It blends well and does not drag on the lips. I've both Guerlain's The Lip Liner in 24 & 25 and feel as though this shade has a slightly better consistency - perhaps it is the ingredients? Anyway, a very nice product to add to my collection!

Guerlain Rouge G Exceptional Complete Lip Colour - 27 Gilda

I'd forgotten how amazing Guerlain's Rouge G lipsticks were until I was trawling Hong Kong's beauty counters and discovered a few new reds. This product wears so well. The colour payoff is good, it stays put and is incredibly moisturizing. An absolute 'gem' or in this case,'jewel' of a lipstick.

Guerlain Lip Pencil - 23 Rouge Cassis

I bought this Guerlain lip liner in 23 Rouge Cassis before the new range was launched and oh how different it is. This particular liner is very waxy and heavy and not overly easy to blend. It tends to leave bits on the lips and unless your lips are super moist, dryness is amplified by a million! The product does stay, it does help manage lipstick feathering and does come with a brush end and sharpener.. but not a product I would buy again.

Guerlain Kiss Kiss Lipstick - 523 Exces De Rouge

After years of knowing this lipstick is one of Dita Von Teese's favourites, I finally caved and purchased it. Guerlain Kiss Kiss Lipstick - 523 Exces De Rouge is a beautiful dark red which wears like a dream. I wasn't really sure what it would look like on me as my skin is a slightly different tone to Dita's but I was more than impressed. This product is incredibly moisturizing and opaque yet light and comfortable. A brilliant winter or night shade without any doubt :)

Guerlain Rouge G Jewel Lipstick Compact - 23 Geisha

I discovered Guerlain's Rouge G Lipstick Compact when it was launched and have purchased most of the red shades. My 'shade of the moment' is 23 Geisha. The Rouge G packaging is designed by French jeweler, Lorenz Bäumer and is incredibly stylish - I love carrying these lipsticks around in my handbag! The lipstick itself is of a high standard, with good staying power, pleasant scent and moisturising properties, I would say that the only down side is that the lipstick is fairly weighty so if you are carrying three of these at any one time (as I often do) you will notice it!

Guerlain Kiss Kiss Extreme Lipstick - 120 Rouge Infini

I have been wearing a lot of bright red coloured lipstick lately so I thought it might be an idea to try something a little darker. I found Guerlain's Kiss Kiss Extreme Lipstick in Rouge Infini 120 within a few minutes of hitting the cosmetic counters - something about those glamorous French cosmetic havens! The texture of this particular lipstick is smooth and light and glides on in one smooth sweep. It has a somewhat fruity scent and feels incredibly moisturizing - described as a velvet finish. Another great red for my collection. My only vent is that it was not long lasting and it left a ring of colour in only a few hours. Great for short outings, but perhaps not for those BIG nights!

Guerlain Kiss Kiss Lipstick - 522 Insolence De Rouge

I came across Guerlain's Kiss Kiss Lipstick in 522 - Insolence De Rouge after reading an interview with Dita Von Teese.
I found this beautiful bright red lipstick to be light weight and highly pigmented. It stays on the lips and it does not bleed or feather. It is lightly fragranced and lovely to wear.
I noticed that there are many red shades in this particular range and am keen to add a few more to my collection - thanks for that Dita!
