Estee Lauder Pure Color Lipstick - Extravagant Red

I purchased Estee Lauder's Pure Color Lipstick in Extravagant Red just before Christmas - it is a limited edition festive colour. Having little experience with Estee Lauder lipsticks, I was not sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. I found it to be light weight, pigment rich and incredibly moisturising. The gold flecks are a nice touch as well, giving the ultimate festive feel.

Illamasqua Lipstick - Howl

A few weeks ago I attended a master class session with the amazing Alex Box, Illamasqua's make up genius.
At the event, one of the make up artists suggested I try Howl, a blood / cherry red with warm undertones. It doesn't take much to convince me to try a 'different' red so I quickly added this to my collection.
As with my other Illamasqua's lipsticks, Howl is also fantastic. The pigment, consistency, non feathering factor and packaging all rate very highly in my book and continue to lure me back for more. I'll be swatching more Illamasqua red colours soon so stay tuned!

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture - 1 Le Rouge

YSL's new Rouge Pur Couture lipstick range is amazing. I purchased 1 Le Rouge a couple of months back and am really pleased with my purchase. The product is highly pigmented, long wearing and works like a lip conditioner without feathering. The packaging is incredibly sophisticated and I love the printed YSL logo on the bullet (packaging is my weakness)!

Face Stockholm Lip Liner - Tilza

Having tried and tested Face Stockholm's lip liners for a few months now, I find the formula fairly drying and prone to leaving small bits on the lips. Tilza is a pink red and although the colour is beautiful, the consistency is not great and the lid falls off constantly. Still, I am one to try and find the positives in things and have found that you can work with the product and once on - it does look gorgeous!

Francis Klein Yvette Sunglasses

I purchased my first pair of Francis Klein sunglasses on a recent trip to Paris and am in l-o-v-e. After much deliberation, I decided on 'Yvette', but in typical miss claret form, I keep thinking about the styles I left behind - so so many! The staff were incredibly helpful and are happy to post to me (!) I can't wait for my next pair :)
