Lancome Color Fever Lipcolor - 130 Soho Red

Lancome's Color Fever Lipcolor in 130 Soho Red is a coral red. It is a creamy consistency and very nice to wear. The colour is bright, which is refreshing for me here in Melbourne where the weather is currently cold and days are dark early. I'd forgotten I had this lipstick and was very pleased to rediscover it.

Illamasqua Lipstick- Liable

When I read that there was going to be a new Illamasqua red lipstick some time back, I was delighted - a new orange red called Liable! I purchased Liable from ASOS as they don't charge postage to Australia and it arrived safe and sound much to my absolute joy. Okay, the colour is stunning, an orange red... but still very much red. I find that a lot of orange reds are more orange than red but this lipstick is definitely more red so a 10 out of 10 for colour! I was however incredibly disappointed to discover that this is probably one of the most matte lipsticks I have ever bought and not in a good way. The product drags on the lips leaving bits on the bullet and it feels as though it could snap at any second. It is so dry it is a challenge to fill the entire lips section in - the inner middle of my lips just couldn't take the colour. I think I may need to experiment with some balm underneath to see if it that makes a difference. The colour is amazing, but unless you are looking for a battle every time you apply this product - I find it difficult to recommend.

Lancome Rouge LAbsolu Nu Lipstick - 102 Rouge Nu

I bought this lipstick because I have a weakness for packaging and was keen on the print on the lid! The lipstick is sheer and glossy and not all that revolutionary (the lid is the best part). I thought the colour may be brighter and redder, but actually turns quite pink on my lips. The fragrance is fairly standard to Lancome's lip products. Nice shade if you are new to red lipstick or want to wear something subtle.

This is the last Kiko : Make Up Milano - Velvet Mat Lipstick I have to swatch, the darkest red. Again, a beautiful and impressive product. I'll swatch the four Kiko Velvet Mat lipsticks I have soon. They are all unique and stunning colours. If you are lucky enough to be able to buy these lipsticks, I'd certainly recommend it.
